Is.55:3 Incline your ear, and come to Me, HEAR, and your soul shall live...The Spirit of God is always speaking, but unfortunately many do not hear Him. There are many voices clambering for our attention, endeavoring to pull us in one direction or another. It takes a committed ear to here what God is saying to your heart. Not the natural ear, but the spiritual ear. This is where that pressing in comes into play. He says, Come to Me - so we must make time to get into the Word, pray and learn to listen as He will speak to us. The Holy Spirit will bring revelation to us as we read - this is God speaking. We train ourselves to listen as He quickens our spirit to do or not do something. This again, is God speaking to us. As we train ourselves to HEAR it will bring peace and confidence to our soul.
