1 Cor. 13:4-8 - 1. is patient under stress. 2. is kind at all times. 3. is generous, not envious. 4. is humble, not self-promoting. 5. is never rude. 6. does not manipulate by using shame. 7. is not irritable or easily offended. 8. celebrates honesty. 9. does not focus on what is flawed. 10. is loyal to the end.
Right And Whole
Rm. 10:10 -"For with the heart man believes unto righteousness (being right and whole), and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."- This is not mind over matter, it is God's Word. When you and I believe (are fully persuaded) in our hearts, and use our mouth (speaking, declaring, and decreeing) the two will work together to bring about the desired results. Rehearsing how bad things are does not bring change. It only perpetuates the problem. Believing in and speaking out God's Word will bring victory over the enemy.
My Eyes Are On You!
2 Chron. 20:12 - O our God, wilt Thou not judge them: for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon Thee. - You may feel as if a great army is surrounding you. Be it health issues, financial issues, relationship issues, or mental and emotional issues. You may feel as if your backs against the wall and you have no where to turn and you certainly have no clue as to what to do. LOOK UP! LOOK UP FROM YOUR VIEW OF THE BATTLE AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS! He has and is your answer! God is with you. Keep your eyes on Him, you are never alone!
Nothing's Too Big For Our God
Ps. 34:3 - O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. - What is your problem in light of the Greatness of Our God? It's all based on our perspective. Are you viewing your situation from a place of magnifying the problem? Are you allowing it to overwhelm and discourage you? Or, are you viewing it from the place of the Bigness of God. When you and I begin to magnify and exalt the Lord above the problem, we will begin to sense His presence. Magnifying Him instead of the problem causes us to see things from His perspective. We are seated, in Christ, far above all that the enemy would throw at us. Begin to magnify Him, for there is nothing too big for our God.
You Can Trust Him
Ps. 62:8 Join me, everyone! Trust only in God every moment! Tell Him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to Him. Believe me when I tell you - He will help you! - I recall the words of an old hymn, "I need Thee, Lord, I need Thee, every hour I need Thee!" You and I serve a Living, Gracious, Caring, Heavenly Father. His desire is to meet our every need. Wipe away our tears. Fulfill our hearts desires and help us through every situation. He can be trusted with everything that you hold dear. He will help you!
Keep The Message Burning
1 Jn. 2:24 - So you must be sure to keep the message burning in your hearts; that is, the message of life you heard from the beginning...There is a message that brings life, it is the truth of God's Word. Friends, it is up to you and I to keep this message stirred up on the inside of us. Just like a campfire will burn out unless more wood is placed on it, our burning passion for the things of God must be stoked by spending time in the life-giving Word. Don't let life so distract you that your fire dwindles down to a flicker. Throw some Word (wood) on that fire and watch it burst into flames again.
No Experation Date
1 Cor. 12:8 - Love NEVER stops loving. - The Amplified Bible says that, Love never fails, never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end. The love of God, in us, is not a trend that was used back in the good old days but now is outdated. It's a command. It's part of who we are. We are love children of a love God. This love, that is in us, reaches deep and it extends to those around us. Love NEVER stops loving.
God's Got It
James 1:5 - If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get His help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. - Sometimes, we as human beings strive and wrestle within ourselves to find the wisdom we need for life's situations. Or, we endeavor to get everyone else's input. Jesus says, "Call unto Me and I will answer you. I will show you great and mighty things which you don't know." The problem for many is, this takes time. Time to get quiet, stop being on the go, and wait on the Lord for His response. God's got it, the "it" being whatever wisdom, answers, direction, plan, destiny, and need you might ever have. God's got it!
Jesus Take The Wheel
Ps. 37:5 - Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust Him along the way you'll find He pulled it off perfectly! - If you find yourself going around the same mountain year after year, don't you think it's time to try something different? God is waiting for you to give Him permission to work in your life. He will not override your will. So, as long as you want to go it alone, He will let you. It's only when we give up control and yield to His plan for our lives, that we will find things changing for our good. Let Jesus take the wheel, He knows how to get you to your destination perfectly.
God's Got Plans
Jer. 29:11 ...I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. - You may have experienced a lot of bumps on the road of life. But, no matter where you are at, and what you've experienced, God has a plan. As long as you have breath in your lungs, God expects for you to live a happy, healthy, blessed life fulfilling His plans for your destiny. Any plans, other than God's plans, will not satisfy.
