Jn. 10:3,4 ...And the sheep listen to His voice and heed it; and He calls His own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out...He walks on before them and the sheep follow Him because they know His voice. This passage of Scripture has always brought me great comfort. To know that the Living God knows me by my name is amazing. With all the people who have ever lived or will ever live on the face of the planet, He knows your name. He wants to be so real to you that you hear His whisper to your heart, "I love you." He is the Good Shepherd and a good shepherd leads his sheep into green, lush pastures. A good shepherd keeps his sheep from harm by watching over them continually. A good shepherd goes out before his sheep and leads them along the way. Jesus, is the Good Shepherd and He wants to lead you through this life. He wants to protect you from the ravages of the enemy. Take time to thank your Good Shepherd today and listen for His voice as He whispers to your heart how much He loves you.
