Is. 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength...In our world today we don't want to wait for anything. We live in an instant society. If our fast food takes to long, we are upset. If our computer doesn't boot up fast enough, we are frustrated. With the advance of technology comes the pressures of having things "right now." Gone are the days of "stopping to smell the roses." We are rushing here, rushing there, late for this, over-stressed because of that and we miss out on the joy of just living. We wonder why we feel so tired, so stressed, so depleted. God has a wonderful solution to this ever increasing problem. Wait in His presence each day. Spend time with the One Who has the ability to fill you up so that you are peaceful, joyful, strengthened, and productive. Waiting on the Lord will cost you some of your precious time, but you will be so glad you do. You will face the day with confidence that will overflow to those who are running on empty.
