Ps. 5:3 Amp. In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare a prayer, a sacrifice for You and watch and wait for You to speak to my heart. Life is busy, I'll be the first to admit it, but there is nothing like starting your day lifting your heart and your voice to the Lord. To start the day communing with God, before the hectic hustle and bustle of life begins to pull at you, will better prepare you to face the day. God sees what lays before you and He wants to guide you so that you can avoid all the traps of the enemy. As you spend time with Him, listening for His still small voice, hearing Him speak to you through His Word and preparing your heart, He will make sure you are in the right place at the right time. Perhaps getting up 10 minutes earlier would give you that extra time you need to spend with Him. Use your time wisely and you will be so blessed that you invested the first part of your day with God.
