Acts 24:16 ... I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men. It is so important that you and I constantly check up on the condition of our heart. We can't afford to have even the slightest bit of unforgiveness, bitterness or resentment towards anyone. Jesus Himself said that offenses would come and it seems that now a days there is a lot to be offended at. Offense is a wicked tactic of the enemy to rob us of our peace, joy, and derail our faith. He knows that when we, as believers, are offended, he then has an inroads into our lives. Believe me his intentions are to destroy us and he does't care how long it takes. Harsh words, bad attitudes, unfair treatment come at us from every side, and often times from those closest to us. Don't take the bait, don't be offended, don't take it to you! Shut the door on offense the moment it rears its ugly head. Although you may feel justified, turn it over to the Lord, forgive and let Him be your Vindicator.
