Gen. 17:5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. We see throughout the Bible the importance of names. In many instances God changed the name of the individual and with that name change He attached a promise. Your name has been changed! He calls you redeemed, healed, delivered, blessed, a joint heir, daughter/son, overcomer, prosperous, victor, anointed, kings and priests, and friend. God calls you His prized possession and child. He calls you a new creation, one recreated and made in His image. With all these names comes the promise of eternal life spent with Him. What are you calling yourself?
