Jer. 23:29 - Is not My Word like a fire, that consumes all that cannot endure the test? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock of most stubborn resistance? - Ephesians gives us the description of the Word of God as a sword of the Spirit when it is spoken out of our mouth. Here, in Jeremiah, we see it is a consuming fire and a hammer. God's Word is a powerful weapon against the most evil, stubborn, resistant attacks of the enemy. When you and I take the Word, speak it out of our mouth, declare what God says about our situations, we cannot lose. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the scripture that will become that mighty weapon in your mouth.
