Is. 30:18 Therefore the Lord waits expectantly and longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed, happy, fortunate are all those who long for Him, since He will never fail them. What are you longing for? What occupies your thoughts? What do you put your money towards and work so hard for? We are living in very serious times. We, as Christians, (Christ-like-ones) need to ask ourselves the question, "Am I truly longing for Him? Am I seeking first the kingdom of God and His plan for my life?" It is time for you and I to get every distraction out of our lives and return to our first love. I awoke the other night with these words ringing in my ear, "What if you knew I was coming back in 3 weeks, how would your life change?" That was very sobering to me. If you knew without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus was coming in 3 weeks, would the things that occupy your life now, even matter?
