2 Tim. 2:19 ..."The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the Name of Christ depart from iniquity." Brothers and sisters in Christ, those who name the name of Jesus, it is time for us to depart from iniquity. Iniquity isn't a common word in todays society, but it is running rampant throughout the earth. We see and experience moral wrongdoing, injustice, hateful, abusive language, and blatant and willful sin. We, who claim the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, must not be partakers of anything that would bring shame to His Name. It is time for us to depart from everything that put Jesus on the cross. If it's questionable, even those things in the gray areas, depart from it, leave it, and don't pick it up again. Why? Because He knows those who are truly His. We cannot afford to embrace the sins of the world, while claiming to be a Christian. This is not meant to condemn, but to warn of the seriousness of the day and hour we are living.
