Heb. 2:11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified, are all one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren. There is a profound unity, a oneness, between Jesus and those whom He saves. He calls those who are a part of the body of Christ, brethren. In fact, Jesus prayed for us in John 17:21, "that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." It's through this "oneness" that you and I will show to a lost and dying world the power of our Living God.
