Make This Your Goal

Rm. 15:2 Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity. - Have you ever laced your fingers together in order to give some one a place to put their foot, a "leg up" so to speak? You and I are containers of God's power and wisdom. We have answers that others are desperately seeking. Perhaps, there is someone you see on a regular basis who is young in their faith walk. Perhaps you know of someone who is struggling to stand strong. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be sensitive to their needs. Encourage, mentor, and speak into their lives. Everyone needs a "leg up" sometime.

Are You The Real Deal?

Rm. 12:9 Let the inner movement of your heart always be to love one another, and never play the role of an actor wearing a mask. - It's very sad, in my opinion, that Christians are viewed by the world as being hypocrites. Why is that? Do we say one thing and do another? Do we find fault, condemn, and speak evil of others, yet do the same things that they are doing? Do we come across as being hard, harsh and sometimes even above others? The Gospel message is a message of love, forgiveness, compassion, and grace. Loving others, doesn't mean excepting and condoning sin, it means to love them out of their mess, just like Jesus did for you.

What If?

Rm. 12:20 TPB If your enemy is hungry, buy him lunch! Win him over with kindness. For your surprising generosity will awaken his conscience, and God will reward you with favor. - What if you were the first one to go out of your way to show love to someone who really doesn't like you? What if you found out something they liked, from someone who knew them, and then you surprised them with it? Maybe a favorite snack, (cookies, candy, drink) put it in a pretty container and handed it to them? What if you offered to buy them lunch, go to a movie, or just hang out? What do you think would happen when you and I take the initiative to love others with the Love of God? Yes, even our enemies! What if? I guess the only way to find out is to do it!

Not Only "Able" but "Willing!"

Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy... Strong's Concordance defines the word "able" as combining power with willingness. Our Loving God, is not only able to keep us from falling into the traps the enemy has laid for us, but He is willing. When tempted to sin, call upon the Name of The Lord. Put your trust in His keeping power and apply the blood of Jesus over your mind, will and emotions. He alone has the power to keep us from stumbling.Today, 9:54 AM

What Are You Looking At?

Heb. 12:2 ...looking away from all that will distract us and focusing our eyes on Jesus, Who is the Author and Perfecter of faith...What are you looking at? Your problems? Your physical issues? Your financial problems? Your marriage? What is it the enemy is using to distract your focus and attention from keeping your eyes on the One Who Is The Answer to all that you face? It is so important that we take a step back and evaluate just what is captivating our attention. Our "issues" can scream so loudly that we turn our attention away from our Answer. These are the times we must ask the Holy Spirit to help us press into the storm, with a fixed gaze on Jesus, Who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Be Encouraging!

1 Thess. 5:14 We appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not in their place of battle. Be skilled at gently encouraging those who feel themselves inadequate. Be faithful to stand your ground. Help the weak to stand again. Be quick to demonstrate patience with everyone. - There are many "battle worn" believers who are struggling in their fight of faith. You and I are called to come alongside of them, lock arms with them, and help them get back up. Who knows, you may be the one who needs encouragement the next time.

Guard The Sweet Harmony

Eph. 4:3,4 Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny. - The word guard means - watch over in order to protect, protect against damage or harm. You and I, as Christ-like-ones, are called to watch out for one another. The Bible tells us to encourage, strengthen, believe the best, and as much as it is possible within us, to keep and maintain peace with our fellow believers. Sure, there are times when we are all challenged in our love walk, but it's up to you and I to protect the sweet harmony we have with others, because we all carry the same Holy Spirit of peace within us.

It's Time For Demolition!

The moment you take the Word of God and start speaking to your mind, to your body, and to your circumstances, a demolition crew has just entered the picture. The Word of God spoken through you will tear down those things the devil has said will always be there. The depression or poverty that has plagued you for so long will start coming down as you begin speaking the Word. - Quote by Mark Hankins - The Bloodline Of A Champion

God Give Me Patience

Ps. 37:34 So don't be impatient for the Lord to act; keep moving forward steadily in His ways, and He will exalt you at the right time. And when He does, you will possess every promise, including your full inheritance. - God has a perfect timing for each of our lives and for the things we are believing Him for. "Patience," is not a word we like to hear, but it is a vital part of our growth as a Christian. Being patient, helps me to develop in my ability to have a right attitude, remain at peace, all while trusting in God's faithfulness to do exactly what is best for my life.

You Should Radiate Hope!

Rm. 15:13 Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope. - When there's nothing, in the natural, you can do in a situation, put your trust in God. As you, truly, trust Him with every thing that concerns your life, it will take the pressure off of you and put it on God. Speak, and declare the promises of God and this will bring supernatural hope, joy and peace. This will radiate off of you to others who have no hope, giving you opportunity to share the goodness of your Faithful God.
