Prov. 23:7 Amp. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he in behavior...We all want people to like us, think well of us, especially when we are with our Christian friends. We know what to say and how to act. God looks at us differently. He looks at our heart motives. He sees the things we do in secret, behind closed doors. He knows our every thought before we think it. This is the true test of who you really are. Are you the same in private, when no one sees you, as you are in public? If not, ask God to forgive you and help you to change those areas in your life.
