Let It Rain

Jm. 5:17,18 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. If you study this out in I Kings the 17th chapter, you will see that the children of Israel had allowed the influence of Baal worship to infiltrate their belief system. One of the beliefs was that Baal controlled the weather. God told Elijah to speak to the heavens and command that it would not rain. As we see from this verse, Elijah was human, with a human countenance just like you and I. When we operate under the direction and anointing of the Spirit of God, nothing - NO THING is impossible to us. Verse 18 says that Elijah prayed again, and the heavens gave rain. Montana and other parts of our nation needs rain! I believe if a man, Elijah, who was not born again, could pray and believe God for rain, cannot His children pray and believe God for the rain? Miracle working prayer is not subject to a certain few. ALL BELIEVERS CAN PRAY AND GET THE SAME RESULTS AS ELIJAH!  Jm. 5:16...the effectual, fervent, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man avails much, making tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. LET'S PRAY!
