Don't allow yourself to be frustrated with every little thing that comes at you. Especially, the things that you can't control,like traffic, the actions of others, the weather and so forth. There are daily "hassles" that will endeavor to get us upset, rob our peace and steal our joy. It is medically proven that each time we allow ourselves to get upset, frustrated, or angry, it causes the same release of chemicals experienced during "fight or flight" due to some fear, danger or trauma. This rush of adrenaline is meant to serve a purpose that could save your life. But, when released day after day, and many times during the day, it is very taxing on your organs, especially your heart. It's time to allow the Holy Spirit within you, help you to stay composed, undisturbed and calm no matter what is going on around you. Remember, the enemy tries to set you up, to get you upset, but you are the master of your emotions.
