Dan. 6:25-27 Then King Darius wrote: ...I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, and steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall endure to the end. He delivers and rescues, and He works sings and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. Did you ever feel like you've been thrown into the lion's den? Every direction you turn has yet another challenge, another hurtle to overcome. You may not be facing literal lions, but the fierceness of the attack leaves you hurt and wounded. Listen to the words of King Darius spoken so many years ago, "Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you." Let those words sink into your heart. It doesn't matter how loud the circumstances are roaring, how vicious the attack may seem, your God, whom you serve, will deliver you. He is the living God, and steadfast and ever true to His Word. He is your deliverer, and He will rescue you from all harm. He is the God of signs and wonders and He knows how to bring you out of the impossible situation.
