Is. 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. The word establish means - to set up, to cause to be, to bring about. Do you realize if you have asked Jesus to come into your heart, you have confessed Him as Lord, you have believed in you heart that He is Who He says He is, you were made righteous? 2 Cor. 5:21 says, For He made Him who knew no sin to BE sin for us, that we might BECOME the righteousness of God in Him. He established you in righteousness - God Almighty, made you to be righteous because of what Jesus did on the cross. He literally became our sin so that we could become His righteousness. Talk about a great exchange! There is nothing you can do to become more righteous then you are right now. You can't work for it, you are it. Being made righteous will cause you to want to do right and to do good things, but those things don't make you righteous. If you haven't been "established" in true righteousness, today is a great day to say yes to God and receive all that He has for you. It's yours for the asking!
