Ps. 146:3-5 Amp. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no help. When his breath leaves him, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts, plans, and purposes perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help...Who keeps truth and is faithful forever. Who are you trusting? If you are putting your trust in the frailty of man, in our government, in your spouse, in your job, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Yes, we are to believe the best of others, pray for them, and respect them, but our trust needs to be in our God. The God Who knows the beginning from the end. The One Who has all the answers, resources, and finances we will ever need to accomplish all His will. The One Who is Trustworthy, Faithful and True to His Word. When you put your trust in God, it doesn't matter what others do, for your hope is not in the arm of man, but in your God.
