I Jn. 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus declared of Himself, "I always do the will of My Father Who sent Me!" Jesus' purpose in the earth was to always do the will of the Father. The Father's will was for Jesus to destroy the works of the Devil. God set Jesus in direct opposition to Satan and his kingdom of darkness. Everything Jesus did was in opposition to the curse and all its effects. If something is stealing, killing and destroying in your life, Jesus already destroyed it. You and I need to rise to our position of being in Christ Jesus. As a Christian, we are in Christ and He has made His home in us. Because of the fact that Jesus already destroyed the works of Satan, which include all sickness, disease, lack, bondage to sin, mental and physical oppression and any other work of darkness, you and I are NOW delivered and set free. Declare today, "Jesus absorbed the curse for me so NOW I am free!"
