Rooted in the Word

Good morning! Jm. 1:21 So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble, gentle, modest spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted in your hearts contains the power to save your soul. The Word of God is a powerful, living thing. It is not just a bunch of old pages stuck between to leather covers. It's not out dated and it's not irrelevant for today. In fact, for the one who receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and then will read, meditate, and confess it on a daily basis, they will find their life will be radically changed. As the Word goes from just head knowledge and agreement, to actual belief and faith, it has the ability to change and transform your thinking. When our thoughts line up with God's thoughts we will find that the things that endeavored to hold us in bondage and sin will have no power over us. When the Word of God takes root in our heart it will produce unshakable faith. When situations and temptation arise we will find that the Word will rise up to bring the answer and strength we need to overcome.
