Morning! Ez. 11:19 I will give them one heart, a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony, unnaturally hardened, heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh, sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God. Life can be hard and if we are not careful we can allow our hearts to become unknowingly hardened in areas. Disappointment, hurt, harsh words can all cause us to put up defensive walls around our heart. The progression of this is that we will become cynical and closed. We may have even let our relationship with the Lord slip away because of the emotional wounds we've experienced at the hands of others. God understands your pain but He doesn't want you to stay there. If you will let Him, He will cleans and heal those wounds which will cause your heart to soften. It's the enemy of your soul, Satan, that wants your heart to be hardened. Let the Holy Spirit shine His light on any area where you may have become hard and resistant and then allow Him to minister to you healing and restoration. God wants to touch you today.
